We are often asked if there are any jobs available on the Dubai Metro. As this site is not run by the RTA, if you are looking for Dubai Metro jobs then all of the jobs are advertised through the RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) who run the Metro.
As the Dubai Metro is such a large operation the types of jobs available vary not only from the jobs that you might think of but also the back room jobs for the running of the Metro including IT and management jobs that may also encompass general areas of work for the RTA.
As the Metro is increasing in size and expanding within the Dubai area, there are generally always some vacancies for anyone who is looking for a job with the RTA and who has the right qualifications.
The RTA advertise all of their available vacancies on their own website and these jobs include vacancies for not only the Metro but also other areas of public transport including buses and marine transport like the ferry. You can apply for the jobs online so this can be done from anywhere in the world, although you will need to set yourself up with a login to apply for any jobs with the RTA.

Some jobs will require that you speak English and Arabic but other positions may require only one or other of the languages (or indeed other relevant languages).
