The new Dubai metro express services start this week – the services stop only at the most popular stops so that they reduce the journey time by about 10 minutes from end to end.
There are only two services to start with and these are being used on a trial basis to see how well used they are. The two trains start at both ends of the red line only at 5.30am and 5.40am and will run initially for 5 months.
