The RTA has announced plans to extend the opening hours of the Dubai Metro during Eid 2012 to allow for the extra passenger numbers that are expected over the period. This is also due to the extra activities that have been laid on during the holiday period and the fact that the shopping malls are all going to be extra busy.
The Metro will be open on Thursdays from 5.30am until 4am on 25th October and 1 November, and from 10am until 4am on Fridays. Also on 27th and 28th October the Metro will run from 5.30am until 4am the next day.
In addition there will be a bus service added to take passengers from Emirates Station to Festival City to take advantage of events happening there.
